This release gives the Math Editor 36 new functions and refinements to 21 existing ones, adding new tools for modelling your strategies, KPIs and pricing policies directly in ATLAS.
What's new
Median functions β including variants per granularity, for benchmarks that outliers can't distort, such as a daily median of day-ahead prices instead of a misleading average.
Week aggregations β compare weekdays with weekends in a single formula.
Moving windows β rolling sums, minimums and maximums for trend-based strategies, floors and caps.
Calendar functions β simpler pro-rating and seasonal pricing.
Last β always returns the latest available value.
Market entities β formulas can now reference bidding entities and balancing service providers.
What's sharper
Moving Average supports configurable windows and missing values. IfDate function can follow an asset's commissioning date, so a pricing rule can switch on the day a unit goes live. Peak and Off-peak Load accept a standing value, and new aliases make price and volume functions easier to use.
Let the ATLAS AI agent guide you
The Math Editor Functions documentation is fully up to date and is read by the ATLAS AI agent. Describe what you want to calculate, for example "I want the median day-ahead price for each week", and the agent will point you to the right functions, explain how they work and show examples, so you can build your formula with confidence.
For the complete list of functions and examples, see Math Editor Functions & Math Editor Examples.
FeaturesScheduling β Mass Update of Order Statuses β Statuses of market orders and balancing market orders can now be updated for several orders at once from the Market Order List and Balancing Market Order List. Useful for markets and exchanges without API support and as a fallback.
Scheduling β Acknowledgement Market File Upload β Market acknowledgement files can be uploaded and are matched automatically to the corresponding saved balancing market orders in supported exchanges.
Companies β Greek VAT Validation β VAT numbers of Greek companies are first validated against the national business registry, falling back to the standard validation when no record is found.
Atlas ML β Training and Inference Jobs β Backend support for the Atlas ML interface, including training jobs linked to inference jobs and initial training runs that start immediately.
ImprovementsBalancing Market Order List β Approve and Send β The Submit button is now labelled Approve and Send, matching the Bidding Orders screen.
Data Completeness β Downloads as Background Jobs β The Download Data dialog now starts ad-hoc background job executions instead of making users wait per dataset, avoiding timeouts on long downloads.
Orders β Dynamic Order Types β Order types are now taken dynamically when an order is created from selected order items and are preserved afterwards.
Orders β Total Volume Mapping β Total Volume is now automatically calculated in Orders.
Commissioning β Export Refinements β The BESS Commissioning export was refined based on market participant feedback, covering XML namespace prefixes, 96-position timeseries, per-asset files, technical maximum validation and versioning.
Alerts β Unit of Measurement β Alert Configuration and Alert Event pages now show the Unit of Measurement inherited from the Index.
FixesData Room β German DAM Prices β Fixed an issue where German DAM prices were incorrect, aligning the series with official DE-LU prices.
Dashboards β Zoom Out β Fixed an issues where dashboard charts did not zoom out correctly.
Dashboards β Widget Changes β Fixed an issue where widget changes saved from the Dashboards view were not displayed correctly.
User Management β Role Change β Fixed an issue where permissions remained disabled after changing a user's role from Admin to Member.
API & MCPAPI Gateway & MCP β Tag Authorization β Permission tags are now consistently shared across API Gateway and MCP calls, for example read versus approve rights on market orders and edit rights on data series.
MCP β Reduced Token Usage β Write endpoints support partial updates, so assistants change only specific fields, with protection that rejects an update if the record changed since it was last read.
MCP β Math Editor Calculate Tool β Math Editor calculations are exposed as an MCP tool returning results in CSV.
MCP β Timeseries in CSV β Timeseries values can be retrieved as CSV for MCP use, without affecting the existing endpoint.
API Gateway β Documentation Fix β Corrected the transactionTime format in the documentation: no timezone information should be sent, as with validFrom and validTo.
