Data Series are used to store and manage time-dependent data across ATLAS, including market prices, forecasts, measurements, positions, and other operational or calculated values. They may originate from external sources, including market operators, exchanges, data providers, and connected systems, or from processes within the ETRM. Users can also create series manually or generate calculated series through the Math Editor.
Each data series contains its values together with the metadata required to identify and interpret them, such as granularity, unit of measurement, timezone, and source. Users can review the data for a selected period, open an individual series as a chart, or add multiple series to a collection for combined visualisation and comparison. Data can also be updated when permitted and exported for further use.
Data Series provide a common data structure for calculations, dashboards, reporting, market analysis, and operational processes throughout ATLAS.
