Overview

The Balancing Market Results screen provides access to the official results that the system operator publishes after each balancing process. It covers the balancing energy prices, the reserve prices, the activated energy and reserve quantities and the dispatch instructions for each dispatch period. The user can analyse the outcome of the balancing market and reconcile the offers that were submitted with the volumes that were finally activated.

The user selects the dates and the balancing market, and the results are presented in tables and, for the prices, also in charts.

The results are retrieved automatically from the system operator and stored as timeseries, from where they feed portfolio management, settlement and the dashboards.

Viewing Results

The Energy Prices and Reserve Prices tabs display the prices for each dispatch period, and their chart tabs display the same data graphically, with each published version of the results shown separately, so that the user can see how the prices changed between versions. The Energy and Reserve Awards tab displays the quantities that the system operator awarded, and the Entity Dispatch Instructions tab displays the instructions that were issued to the entities. Units of measurement adjust to the selected market, as in the spot market screens.

The results can be grouped, filtered and exported, and each user can choose the columns to display.
