The Dispatching section supports the participation of the company in the balancing markets. Through its screens, the entities that act as Balancing Service Providers (BSPs) submit their declarations and offers to the system operator for each dispatch day, and monitor the outcome of the market.
Non-Availability Declarations and Technoeconomic Declarations communicate to the system operator the availability of each unit and its operational and cost characteristics, so that the unit is scheduled according to its real capability. Commissioning supports the declaration of the test programme of battery storage units during their commissioning. Reserve Offers, ISP Offers, ISP Balancing Energy Offers and RTBEM Balancing Energy Offers support the preparation of the reserve capacity and balancing energy offers, with the price and quantity steps of each dispatch period, for the Integrated Scheduling Process (ISP) and for the real-time balancing energy market (RTBEM).
Balancing Market Order List collects all the declarations and offers created in these screens, so that authorized users can review them, approve and send them to the system operator and follow their status. Balancing Market Results presents the official results published by the system operator, namely the energy and reserve prices, the awarded quantities and the dispatch instructions, in tables and in charts, which allows the trader to reconcile the submitted offers with the activated volumes.
The screens that apply to each participant depend on the market and on the declarations that each BSP is enabled to submit. Declarations such as non-availability and technoeconomic data are sent directly to the market, while offers follow the approval workflow of the order list. The following pages describe the preparation, submission and monitoring workflow for each screen.
