Overview of Standing Data Fields
11. Standing Data Fields

The Standing Data Fields section allows users to define the structure of reusable parameters used within Math Editor expressions and Math Editor Templates as input values for calculations.

Users can create, edit, and delete Standing Data Fields.

Each field includes:

  • Name – unique identifier of the parameter,

  • Description – optional explanatory text,

  • Unit of Measure (UoM) – defines the measurement unit (if applicable),

  • Field Type – defines the data type and structure of the parameter.

Supported field types include:

  • Decimal

  • Int

  • Boolean

  • Timeseries

  • DateTime

  • String

The definition of actual values, including their validity periods, is managed separately in the Data Room → Standing Data module.

For details on value configuration, time-dependent behaviour, and typical use cases, refer to the Data Room – Standing Data section of this document.
